Welcome to So Colour Collection

I am Amy, the artist behind every line, swirl, composition and detail in these books.

Between a busy life of being a dance mum, a dog mum and working in the corporate world, I found myself creating colouring pages on my Ipad just to unwind. I would print them off, grab my pens, make a cup of tea, with my black lab Rocki at my feet and quite often Stranger Things playing in the background.

Fast forward three years, and I knew I wanted to create something others could enjoy too. I have always loved the simplicity and bright colours of the 80s, the denim and dark cherry lip liner of the 90s, and the chunky belts, pink outfits and attitude of the 00s. I wanted people to feel exactly what I did when I switched off, got my pens out, put my earphones in, and went down memory lane.

This is where I found my style, bold, fun, nostalgic and full of personality. Every single page in every book is hand-drawn. No AI. No templates. No shortcuts. Just me, my pen, an iconic movie or playlist from the decade I am drawing (and many late nights making sure each page feels just right).

Even this page is written by me, no AI here.

But it doesn't stop at retro and nostalgia. There are plenty of other books planned, and in progress. All designed in my signature style: not overcrowded, not overly complicated, but still interesting, fun and satisfying to finish. I wanted to bring art and design in to everyday lives.

After 20 years in the corporate world, and getting my daughter through dance school, I decided to go back to what I love and studied....Art.

So, I quit my job, took a leap of faith, and here we are.
